Restorative Yoga

Relax in supported postures to release muscle tension, restore the nervous system and soothe the mind.  Class time is divided into several postures, students spend 5 - 10 minutes in each posture allowing the body and mind to become deeply restored.

Malinda Thompson, Certified in Advanced Yoga Therapy, RYT 200, guides students to deep relaxation with breathing and mindfulness instruction. She is trained in the viniyoga tradition with the understanding that transformative yoga practice is adapted for the individual, the beauty and the  challenge is discovering which practices are correct for the individual. Through this practice yoga is revealed.
