Tom Jonesing

July 24, 2010

For nine years, Tom Jonesing was a 10 piece rock & roll juggernaut that prowled the high and low life establishments of San Francisco. Sporting a horn section, three backup vocalists, and any number of unlicensed and extremely dangerous go-go dancers, Tom Jonesing rocked the music of Tom Jones from his pre-disco golden age. They rocked terribly hard. The band finally went the way of all things. But after a short hiatus, founding members vocalist Steffanos X and pianist Dean Mermell began to experiment with new, stripped-down arrangements of classics like What’s New Pussycat, Delilah, and It’s Not Unsusual. The result? Tom Jonesing, only smaller!
